Children's Proverbs
First grade teacher collected well-known proverbs. She gave each child
in her class the first half of a proverb and asked them to come up with
the rest of the proverb. While reading these, keep in mind that the children
are first graders...6-year-olds !!! The last one is a classic!

[I believe that the last child probably had been retained 6 or 7 times in first
